Everyone can enjoy the beach area for a fun, relaxing day on the beach and swimming in the water. There are also concessions and a campground store providing basic necessities. The WhoaZone at Heron Beach features a full day of entertainment for family and friends to enjoy located 5.6 miles southwest of the lake. They provide floating obstacle courses for all ages to have some water fun. There is shaded seating and watercraft rentals along with a camp store and concessions. The beach around the obstacle courses offers a relaxing day out in the sun for everyone to enjoy.

The Captain’s Club at Woodfield located 10 miles northwest offers a premium public 18-hole golf course for anyone to experience fun, challenging courses. They provide a restaurant to enjoy while out at the club featuring great food and beverages.
